Comprend acquires ReportWatch

Report this content

Digital corporate communications agency Comprend, based in Stockholm and London, has acquired ReportWatch, the brand behind the annual survey and rating of annual reports – Annual Report on Annual Reports.

Comprend is the agency that founded Webranking - the global ranking of corporate websites based on stakeholder needs. Webranking and Annual Report on Annual Reports both started in the late 1990s with a mission to help companies improve their corporate communication. Throughout the years, the two rankings have evaluated corporate communication in two of the most important channels – the annual report and the corporate website.

Helping listed companies to communicate better, the annual report is an important product for our clients, and therefore also for us. When the opportunity to acquire ReportWatch from the previous owner e-com arose, we saw a perfect match. Researching the stakeholder needs for both annual reports and corporate websites will help our clients in understanding their stakeholders, and it will help us in being able to push our clients to constant improvements in their communications.

“During the last decade, annual reports have become an almost entirely online entity,”
agree Staffan Lindgren (Comprend CEO) and Mike Guillaume (e-com MD).

This year’s Annual Report on Annual Reports will be a joint project between e-com and Comprend.
