Concordia Maritime AB signs contract for a further two P-MAX tankers

Concordia Maritime and Brodosplit Shipyard, Croatia, have signed a contract for the construction of a further two P-MAX product tankers.

The contract is conditional on final approval being given by the boards of directors of Concordia Maritime and Brodosplit. This approval is expected to be given in about a month. The vessels, which will be nos. 7 and 8 in the P-MAX series, are expected to be delivered during the fourth quarter of 2009. Two of the first six vessels have been delivered, two will be delivered in 2006 and two at the end of 2007/beginning of 2008.
