– and today, the vessel leaves the yard for Sweden.

Today, Concordia Maritime took delivery of the Stena Primorsk from the Brodosplit shipyard in Split, Croatia. The Stena Primorsk is the third vessel in Concordia Maritime’s series of six P-MAX tankers and has been signed to a 10-year charter with the Russian logistics company Progetra. The vessel will make one or two short voyages before she drops anchor in front of the Royal Castle in Stockholm on 8 June. The reason for her visit to Stockholm is the naming ceremony on 9 June at which Her Majesty Queen Silvia of Sweden will be Godmother. In conjunction with the naming ceremony, Concordia Maritime will arrange a number of activities. On 9 June, in addition to the naming ceremony, Concordia Maritime will arrange a capital market day with a number of speakers, who will present their views on issues relating to shipping, oil and the environment. A day on the quayside with entertainment for the public is planned for 10 June. The Stena Primorsk will leave Stockholm in the afternoon 10 June.
