Information from Concordia Maritime

INFORMATION FROM CONCORDIA MARITIME Concordia Maritime has today sold the 6,331 Dwt product tanker STENA BARBADOS. The pre tax result of the sale is about MSEK 23. The buyer is a newly founded shipping company in Sweden, Wisby Tankers AB. It is four young senior officers, two masters and to chief engineers, that jointly owns the company. They all have solid experience from commanding product tankers in Caribbean trade, the present trade of STENA BARBADOS. The four owners will work in two teams with one team on board and one team ashore. Thereby the owners themselves will be in command at all times. The vessel will continue to run Swedish flag and will keep the name STENA BARBADOS. Concordia Maritime will charter the vessel back for two years, with another optional two years, and continue to service Texaco in the Caribbean trade.
