An image´s quality metric may then be used to evaluate and enhance image quality automatically, without direct involvement of a clinical expert.

-          “The new technology has provided us with a completely new platform for product development which we call the ´Virtual Expert´. This will be used as a basis for many of our future products”, says Anita Tollstadius, CEO, ContextVision.

Being able to automatically evaluate image quality allows adjustment of medical images in order to further improve the diagnostic value of medical imaging.
