Christmas tree sings for Hearing Dogs in Coppergate Centre
Generous visitors to the Coppergate Centre in York are being asked to dig deep this Christmas to help raise funds for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People – with those giving a pound rewarded with a tune and extra lights on the Coppergate Christmas tree. The charity, which has a base on the outskirts of York just off the A1079, will be bringing its volunteers, dogs and mascots Bernie and Bruce, to the Coppergate Centre throughout December to help raise money for the organisation, which trains and provides assistant dogs to those with hearing impairments.
