Maidenhead, UK – Thursday 5 September, 2013 – Leading graphics and digital media software company Corel will attend the Scottish Learning Festival 2013 for the first time, and launch their Corel Academic Site Licence (CASL) to the Scottish market. Hosted at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre, Glasgow, Wednesday 25 to Thursday 26 September, the event provides the perfect platform to share information, highlight innovation and showcase best practice.

The Scottish Learning Festival 2013 supports practitioners to explore a wide range of practical approaches, resources and research aimed at improving achievement and attainment for all learners in Scotland. Using the opportunity to connect with Scottish educators, Corel will showcase a package designed for educational establishments to provide a cross-curricular software solution with free upgrades, easy deployment and no installation reporting restrictions.

Corel's feature-rich software products include some of world's best known brands, and are perfect for introducing multimedia to any subject, as well as lessons and projects in graphic design, technical graphics, vector illustration, photo and video editing, PDF editing, CAD, and digital art.

Attending the show, Corel’s Education Account Manager for Northern Europe, Gillian Picton said: “Given the prevalence of graphics and multimedia in the workplace, selecting the right software package can play a major role in preparing students for working life. The Scottish Learning Festival 2013 provides Corel the perfect opportunity to demonstrate what we can offer an institution and how our software enables students to be as productive as possible.”

At the event, Corel will be offering institutions the chance to sign-up for a free campus-wide three month trial of the site licence and also an opportunity to speak with their product experts at stand E67 (terms and conditions apply).
