As the only event of this type in the UK, it’s the perfect place to meet our customers from the personalisation industry and help them get the most out of our products with our free workshops and Q&A opportunities.”
Klaus Vossen, Senior Product Manager for Technical Graphics, Corel
We asked the CorelDRAW community to show us what they are capable of with CorelDRAW Graphics Suite, and they delivered
While managing the judging process was no easy task, seeing the skill, creativity and dedication demonstrated by these designers and the artwork they created was an inspirational experience
Given the prevalence of graphics and multimedia in the workplace, selecting the right software package can play a major role in preparing students for working life. The Scottish Learning Festival 2013 provides Corel the perfect opportunity to demonstrate what we can offer an institution and how our software enables students to be as productive as possible.
Our goal with the introduction of the CorelDRAW Premium Membership Program is to give users early access to new features and functionality, ensure they’re always up-to-date with the latest version and provide exclusive cloud-based content
Through frequent updates since releasing CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X6, we’ve delivered over 20 new features and added more than 1800 pieces of content to the premium cloud including photos, fonts, bitmap patterns and text frames
Channel and OEM sales are extremely important revenue streams to Corel. Jussi’s proven sales leadership, deep industry knowledge and global perspective place him in a strong position to head-up Corel’s Global Sales operation. His appointment is a huge asset to Corel and our partners
I am excited about the opportunity to lead the global sales team. Corel’s profile has grown considerably in recent years, including the acquisition of two major, global brands; Pinnacle and Roxio. As such, Corel’s broad portfolio now includes both hardware and software products, used by millions of loyal customers worldwide. While adopting a multi-brand strategy, we are simultaneously extending our established product lines. Corel’s channel partners are an integral part of how we sell our products and I look forward to further drive mutual revenue growth with them.
Painter X3 is the result of an immensely collaborative effort with professional artists across the world to understand how we could improve the user experience, optimise the existing workflow and add new technologies to push the boundaries of digital art
What we’ve created with this version is more than digital art software; it’s a platform for inspiration, creativity and reflection
We are really excited about exhibiting at FESPA 2013 and where better to be than in London, one of the design capitals of the world? We will be offering free training sessions for our current users plus workshops designed to introduce CorelDRAW® Graphics Suite X6 to prospects. There will be lots of opportunity to ask questions too and we look forward to welcoming visitors on to the Corel stand.
We strongly believe that users should be able to choose how they would like to purchase their software. We recognise that there isn’t one solution that will work for everyone, which is why we have different offerings for the diverse products in our portfolio. We will continue to sell perpetual licenses in both the box and download format, in addition to offering CorelDRAW subscriptions and more, in order to meet the needs of our users.
“Consumers are simply not ready to rent / lease their software and if vendors are only offering that as a purchase option then the potential revenue loss for resellers is huge.”
“Whilst many businesses are comfortable with using the cloud to purchase software, consumers still want the choice as to how they buy software and do not want to be forced into renting software before they feel ready.”
“The cloud has enormous potential for consumers to buy software – quicker delivery time, easy upgrades, additional features and more flexibility – and is undoubtedly the future. But many UK consumers don’t like the idea of an on-going payment and are simply more comfortable with owning a physical product. Whilst it might be easier for software firms to sell their products via the cloud, to try and impose this on consumers is simply wrong.”
