Maidenhead, UK – Thursday 6 September, 2012 – Corel today announced the launch of the Home & Student version of CorelDRAW® Graphics Suite X6, a complete graphics suite offering robust content, graphic design, illustration, page layout, web graphics and photo-editing features. Featuring a powerful typography engine, enhanced photo-editing tools and advanced text support, this latest version of CorelDRAW® Home & Student Suite provides anyone, from students to families, with everything they need to easily create reports, drawings, flyers, logos and more. With a dedicated range of learning tools included in CorelDRAW Home & Student Suite X6, it’s easy to get started and anyone can be a designer. CorelDRAW Home & Student Suite X6 is only for non-commercial projects, and entitles users to up to three installations per household for just £99.99 VAT included.

New features and enhancements

The new features and numerous enhancements included in the latest suite are:

  • Advance Typography tools: Create beautiful layouts with advance typography tools.
  • New Creative Vector Shaping tools: Creatively add effects using four new vector shaping tools – Smear, Twirl, Attract and Repel.
  • New Smart Carver™: Remove unwanted areas from an image while simultaneously maintaining the photo’s aspect ratio.
  • Improved Page Layout Capabilities: Create design layouts with ease using new and improved Master Layer functionality, Alignment Guides, Interactive frames and much more.
  • Redesigned Object Properties Docker: Save time, fine-tune designs and get access to the object settings in one centralized location.
