In Depth Managed Services are always working towards improving customer experience and adding value to our services.

With this in mind they recently held a Supplier Workshop and Practical Training Day at a training facility near their headquarters in Warrington. Representatives from the PHS Group gave practical demonstrations to In Depth operatives on how to use their washroom and dust control products efficiently and effectively. There was also training available for all attendees so they were confident operating and maintaining larger cleaning equipment, such as sit on scrubber-dryers. This opportunity will enable staff to make minor repairs or identify when to call out a specialist. At In Depth, we have an obligation to deliver a ‘duty of care’ to staff, customers and partners. Therefore, training was given to staff members so they can cascade what they have learned to colleagues who have no prior knowledge of the product or cleaning process and for whom English may not be their first language. By performing and monitoring this exercise we will be able to identify any difficulties encountered when working with people with limited understanding of English or who have partial hearing. Our Call Centre staff, Administration Team and field staff regularly encounter complex and challenging situations. It is essential that everyone is able to fully understand health and safety procedures and know exactly how equipment works and the high standards we expect them to deliver. For cleaning operatives this includes identifying a wide range of floor coverings and materials and recognising which products to use when cleaning these. By implementing this procedure we can carefully analyse any gaps and conduct further training if necessary so that everyone can supply our recognised high level of service. ENDS Words 284
