Empowering the People

In Depth Managed Services are always working towards improving customer experience and adding value to our services.With this in mind they recently held a Supplier Workshop and Practical Training Day at a training facility near their headquarters in Warrington. Representatives from the PHS Group gave practical demonstrations to In Depth operatives on how to use their washroom and dust control products efficiently and effectively. There was also training available for all attendees so they were confident operating and maintaining larger cleaning equipment, such as sit on scrubber-dryers.

Be a Part of the Solution

Workplace deaths and injuries have fallen over the past thirty years but thousands still die every year as a result of work-related accidents and ill health.The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) have launched a strategy called 'Be Part of the Solution', which is designed to reduce the number of workplace accidents and take a common sense approach to ensuring that risk management is an enabler for business not a burden. In Depth have signed up to the pledge that states they agree to: • play a part in reducing the numbers of work-related deaths, injuries and ill-health in Great Britain. •

In Depth make a Splash at the Loo of the Year Awards

Since its introduction in 1987, the annual Loo of the Year Awards competition has helped focus the spotlight on 'away from home' toilets throughout the UK.Once again In Depth carried home top prizes for Claremont Group Interiors Head Office in Warrington. The site won a 5 star award and also named winners in the Commercial and Public Offices for England category. In Depth have been working with Claremont for the past 3 years. Cleaning operatives Ruth Blackburm, Carly Mayer and Ben Wilson, supervised by Tracey Saide, are responsible for keeping the head office toilets in pristine condition.

Dishing the Dirt

We’ve all heard horror stories about what goes on behind the scenes in restaurants but rarely do we witness the evidence. In a new series currently being screened on ITV 1 we catch a glimpse of what the customers don’t see of Britain's £70 billion food industry.Presented by celebrity chef Phil Vickery and Rebecca Wilcox, daughter of Esther Rantzen and Desmond Wilcox, the programme shows undercover footage that takes viewers into restaurant kitchens. Environmental health officers are then brought in to shut down establishments with cockroaches in the kitchen and mice droppings on chopping
