Crunchfish collaborates with T-Hub in India to augment payments and CBDC

Report this content

Augmenting payments and CBDC was the topic in Crunchfish’s 15th Survival of the fittest webinar. In collaboration with Indian ecosystem innovation pioneer T-Hub, Crunchfish will arrange a unique accelerator program enabling FinTechs to augment payments where the initial focus will be on innovative CBDC products and services.

Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) is being evaluated around the world where cash-like features such as ease of use, offline-, inclusive- and private- payments are key requirements. CBDC designs are often limited and not capable of replicating the unique properties of cash payments. Indian ecosystem innovation pioneer T-Hub, in collaboration with Crunchfish, will arrange a unique accelerator program enabling fintech companies to create innovative CBDC products and services by exploiting Crunchfish Digital Cash. This webinar on Digital Cash CBDC Accelerator was the 15th of the Survival of the fittest webinar series.

Sanjay Thakur, senior banker and advisor to T-Hub outlined the CBDC Augmenting Payments accelerator program followed by a panel discussion moderated by Johan Wester with Srinivas Rao M, CEO of T-Hub and Joachim Samuelsson, Crunchfish group CEO as panelists.
