Cucina retains Bushey Academy contract
School catering company Cucina Restaurants has retained its contract at The Bushey Academy in Hertfordshire.
The contract runs until August 2017, with a projected turnover of £681,058.
The Bushey Academy is a mixed gender sponsor-led Academy with around 800 students on roll. In January 2014, the School Performance Tables named it as the third highest performing school in Hertfordshire and among 200 highest achieving schools in the country. Principal Mr Andrew Hemmings said:
"We are pleased to be continuing our partnership with Cucina, a company at the forefront of excellent school food."
Commenting on the contract retention, Cucina's MD Steve Quinn said:
"It's been exciting to be a part of the academy's growth and development and we're very much looking forward to continuing our work here."
