Imperial Service Medal for Civil Servant

A Tamworth woman who has spent her career in public service has been rewarded with the Imperial Service Medal. Sandra Tedd, who lives in Dostill, Tamworth, retired in March last year. She was presented with the medal on 2nd February in recognition of a working life spent as a civil servant. This included time at the Highways Agency, Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs and since 2009, the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) in Sutton Coldfield. DIO delivers new logistics facility in Surrey

Army recruits will have ready access to the latest equipment and training thanks to a new £7.5 million logistics facility delivered by the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) at Army Training Centre (ATC) Pirbright. Air Vice Marshal Elaine West officially opened the new facility, which took 15 months to complete.
