Hangars complete at new Defence college

Work has completed on three hangars at the new Defence College for Technical Training at MOD Lyneham in Wiltshire. The hangars have each been newly built or refurbished by Hercules - a joint venture between Kier Group and Balfour Beatty - for the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO). The buildings, which include two extensions to existing hangars, provide workshops, stores and classrooms to cater for the Army’s Corps of Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME’s) training needs.
