The well loved Scottish food brand, Hall’s, is launching its new advertising campaign – Everyday Heroes – tonight, Monday 15th March 2010, on STV. The TV campaign will run for four weeks and is being supported by an intensive three week campaign on Real Radio. Anna Finlay, brand manager at Hall’s said: “At Halls we provide people with great, honest, comfort food. Our Everyday Heroes campaign, which aims to encourage people to think about the simple things in life that make a real difference, is part of our overall strategic brand plan for increasing our market share.” Created by leading Scottish brands agency Denvir, the ‘Everyday Heroes’ campaign illustrates a brand which epitomises traditional Scottish family mealtimes. The TV interpretation is a documentary style advert which features melodic acoustic as the sound track; and leads through a series of illustrations of ‘Everyday Heroes’ – a boyfriend making breakfast in bed for his girlfriend, a dad driving his teenagers home from a late night disco, a mum listening to her upset daughter on the phone, a grandfather designing home-made t-shirts with his granddaughter; closing on a dinnertime table, with mum putting out a sausage casserole just as the family come to sit down. Hall’s is a well known and well loved Scottish brand offering a range of traditional meat products such as sausages, breakfast packs, Lorne sausage and of course our famous national dish – The Hall’s Haggis. Hall’s is the No 1 haggis brand in Scotland and is the best selling haggis in the world. The company was founded in 1932 by David A Hall and has been based in Broxburn, near Edinburgh, since the early 1960s. The Hall's business currently employs in excess of 900 people at the Broxburn site, and is a major supporter of Scottish agriculture.
