Milk a Wiseman's cow this Saturday at Tesco

Bring your kids along to Tesco Extra in Elgin this Saturday, 8th May 2010, to have a turn at milking ‘Bella’, Wiseman’s life size cow! Or even give it a go yourself… Tesco’s free to attend Enjoy the Taste of Scotland road show will be open from 10am till 6.30pm in the car park at the Tesco Extra store in Elgin, and Bella will be available throughout the day. Children will also be able to enjoy a variety of entertainment, including the craft corner, face painting, the haggis shy and even a chance to plant and grow their own herbs. Visitors will be able to take a culinary tour of the region, browsing stalls and meeting producers from all over Scotland. There will be two main areas at the event: The Tesco Cookery Theatre – with cookery demonstrations from chefs at Harbour Lights, Restaurant 55 and Chapter One, ‘Ready Steady Cook’ with Moray Firth Radio, Kids Smoothies with Tesco’s Home Economist and Whisky cocktails with Gordon and Macphail. The Tesco Fair– a collection of producer marquees and stands as well as a variety of activities and great entertainment.
