Scotland’s biggest and best FREE consumer food and drink event, ‘Enjoy the Taste of Scotland’, returns to Glasgow’s George Square on 28th and 29th May, following last years road show tour. Hosted and organised by Tesco, Enjoy the Taste of Scotland, is an annual celebration of locally sourced food and drink which brings together over 100 suppliers to show case and raise awareness of the breadth and diversity of local produce available in Scotland. Quality Meat Scotland teams up with Tesco for Enjoy the Taste of Scotland

Ahead of the first event on the Enjoy the Taste of Scotland road show calendar this weekend in Elgin (8th May 2010), Tesco has announced that Quality Meat Scotland (QMS) will sponsor the road show series across the country this summer. Angus Bell, Local Buying Manager for Tesco in Scotland said: “We are delighted that QMS has teamed up with Tesco for the ‘Enjoy the Taste of Scotland’ events around the country. The events provide local and regional producers with an opportunity to showcase their products to hundreds of visitors, who will be able to try and buy direct from the producers.”
