Devon Duvets and the power of THREE: A revolutionary personalised bedding solution helping couples sleep more harmoniously

Following two years of customer trials and feedback Devon Duvets, the award-winning Devon-based family run soft bedding company, is proud to fully launch their unique, patented modular duvet solution, designed to help couples sleep more harmoniously. THREE Duvets is a new range by the company, sitting alongside and complementing their other hugely popular ranges.

This innovative product offers individual sleep customisation, allowing each partner to choose a half duvet section with the filling and weight of their choice, which can then be joined to their partner’s chosen section. A seamless join is possible through a patented system and, once joined together to create a full-size duvet, this can be placed inside the customers’ usual sized duvet cover.

Dick Beijen, Co-owner and Managing Director said: “Couples may share most things in life, but we are all different when it comes to sleep. So often one person will feel too warm and the other too cold when it comes to duvet sharing. This means that one of them is likely to have an uncomfortable night with disrupted sleep, leading to tiredness every morning.”

Couples often have to compromise on the shared duvet they choose or end up with two single duvets – or even separate beds, often referred to as ‘sleep divorce’. With THREE Duvets, this is a problem that can be consigned to the past. There is a choice of modules available, incorporating a selection of sizes, fillings, and togs and, in keeping with the company’s long held ethos and values, are crafted using only high quality natural and sustainable materials, such as fully traceable 100% British wool. Each section is individually handcrafted in the Devon Duvets workshops to exacting specifications and with the aim of helping to help achieve a better night’s sleep.

Dick Beijen added: “Our patented joining system also means that sections can be ‘mixed and matched’ throughout the seasons, with extra individual half sections obtained as required. This can also help lessen the expense of having to purchase full size, duvets for each season, especially if one person needs a warmer or cooler duvet at different times or for longer than their partner.”

Pauline Beijen, Co-owner and Director said: “The name THREE Duvets came through the idea that it’s a duvet made from two halves that come together as one. However, THREE Duvets is more than just a duvet, it’s a symbol of unity and harmony in the bedroom. It’s about honouring individual preferences, whilst embracing togetherness. Sleep is so important for our wellbeing and this product creates an environment that nurtures and supports your relationship in how harmoniously you sleep together.”

Devon Duvets is a family run and family-owned business that has been individually handcrafting authentic 100% British wool filled bedding for over 15 years, at their workshops on the edge of Dartmoor. The company was conceived in 2008, founded on the ethos of supporting British sheep farmers by using their wool to craft luxurious natural and sustainable products that help people to sleep better. Later in 2008, they were discovered by a researcher for Monty Don’s popular Channel 4 series “My Dream Farm’ and following broadcast of the programme commercial production began.

Devon Duvets has always been committed to sustainability across every aspect of its products and business operations, and to ensuring a circular economy.
