ANNOUNCEMENT UNDER THE SECURITIES MARKET ACT, CHAPTER 2, SECTION 10

We hereby announce that Digia Plc has been notified, in accordance with Chapter
2, Section 10 of the Finnish Securities Market Act, of a change in the
company's ownership: 

Jyrki Hallikainen has on March 26, 2009 informed Digia that he controls Digia
Plc's shares and votes which exceeds one-tenth (1/10). Altogether Jyrki
Hallikainen controls 2,134,463 shares of Digia, corresponding to 10.04 % of
Digia's shares and votes.

The share capital of Digia Plc comprises in total EUR 2,085,364.50 and
20,853,645 shares.
