Diös leases 1,500 sq.m of office space to Almi in Östersund
Diös and Almi have signed a green lease agreement for just over 1,500 sq.m of modern office space on Hamngatan in Östersund’s city center. The office investment means that Almi will consolidate its regional operations and part of its parent company within a single office. Occupancy is expected to take place in September 2025.

Almi provides loans, venture capital and business development support to companies with growth potential. Almi AB is state-owned and serves as the parent company of a group comprising 16 regional subsidiaries and the sub-group Almi Invest AB. Almi’s operations complement the private market in meeting companies needs for financing and business development.
Almi is already a tenant of Diös at two different locations in central Östersund. By consolidating its operations into a single office, Almi aims to strengthen the collaboration between the company's various departments and make it easier for businesses to access and benefit from its services.
“For historical reasons, we have been located at two different addresses in Östersund. When the opportunity arose to move into a single office, the decision was ultimately quite easy. In this context, we also benefited from the fact that both our existing offices and our new joint office all have Diös as the landlord. This made the transition smooth,” says Håkan Zinders, Head of Group Controlling & Facility Manager, Almi AB.

Almi is moving into the property at Hamngatan, which, in addition to office space, also houses the shopping center Kärnan. The building is environmentally certified according to the internationally recognized BREEAM In-Use standard at the level “Very Good”. Diös and Almi have signed a green lease agreement, meaning that both parties will collaborate in planning and managing the office space with the goal of reducing environmental impact and energy consumption.
