Casual Dining opens in London tomorrow

Casual dining is big business in the UK – and this week it’s about to get even bigger.  That’s the word from Diversified Communications UK – organiser of the new Casual Dining trade show, which opens at the Business Design Centre in London at 10am tomorrow (Wednesday 26 February).

The two-day event is set to welcome thousands of top buyers and senior decision makers from across the £6.7bn casual dining sector.  Many of the country’s biggest pub groups and branded restaurant chains will be in attendance, and nearly a third of all pre-registered visitors to date (30%) represent companies whose corporate spend is in excess of £500,000 (a further 22% report over £100,000).

According to research by foodservice analysts Allegra Strategies, over 19 million British adults eat out at least once a week.  This equated to around £31 billion spent in 2012 (Mintel).  Operators looking to expand their menu offerings – and take a bigger bite out of this lucrative (and growing) market – will find a host of new ideas at Casual Dining.

Catering specifically to the business needs of casual dining operators, the event will feature 118 companies showcasing an innovative choice of food and drink, equipment, interior design, furniture, technology and table top.  Nestle Professional, Lamb Weston, Reynolds, UCC Coffee, Magrini, Sacla’ UK, Fresh Direct, McCain Foodservice (GB), Estrella Damm, Department 33 Wines of Bordeaux, Adande Refrigeration, Alan Nuttall, Rational, and Unox are just some of the leading suppliers confirmed to exhibit (to view the full list, visithttps://onlineexhibitormanual.com/divcasualdining14/exhi/exhibitorList.aspx.)
