DIVERSIFIED BUSINESS COMMUNICATIONS ACCELERATES GLOBAL EXPANSION IN 2ND QUARTER

Portland, Maine, US - Diversified Business Communications’ most recent growth surge reveals a business development plan filled with strategic partnerships, product acquisition, launches and global brand expansion.

"As a result of actively listening to our customers to identify and respond to emerging business needs we are taking seven of our brands to new regions and we have acquired three products in strategic industries” commented Ms. Nancy Hasselback, President and CEO of Diversified Communications.

Diversified is launching seven events in India, Hong Kong, Australia, Sweden, Canada, the US and the Netherlands.

Diversified’s Fine Food brand – already Australia’s largest food and hospitality industry event held annually in three cities and New Zealand – is replacing the International Food & Drink Expo India, which was acquired from Tarsus.

The partnership between Diversified and Media 10 from the UK and license by FremantleMedia were established in 2010 to launch Grand Designs in Sydney Australia this October 21-23. That event is already set for such great success, that the launch in Melbourne is underway.

This launch will be the first trade event for the organic business sector in the growing Scandinavian market. As the producers of the market leading Natural & Organic franchise in the UK, Diversified identified a growing need for an event.

  • Office* will launch in 2012, in the US, Canada and Australia.

This very successful tradeshow and conference model in the UK offers business solutions to office managers and administrator in every business office. Office* has become Diversified’s newest global brand with events planned in Washington D.C., Toronto and select cities in Australia.

Createasphere – Diversified’s division for the entertainment technology industry – will co-locate its DAM Conference with Diversified’s SPAR Europe Conference. Already produced in Los Angeles and New York, the co-location brings DAM’s customers into the European marketplace and taps into the excellent crossover opportunities with the SPAR audience due to the large amount of data used in the 3D imaging field.

  • China Retail launches in the fall of 2012

Diversified’s Retail Asia Expo in Hong Kong recently won the award for the fastest growing trade show in Asia presented by Trade Show Executive (TSE) magazine. With momentum behind the brand, Diversified formed a partnership with EJ Krause, a like-minded event producer with an infrastructure in China, to launch their Retail Asia Expo concept.

A leader in the seafood industry, Diversified will leverage existing relationships and resources to ensure the success of this launch and co-location with Diversified’s Restaurant & Bar Hong Kong and the Asian Seafood Exposition. This niche event is in response to the growing frozen food market in China.

In addition to their launches, Diversified recently made three acquisitions in the business management and entertainment technology sectors.

  • The Service Desk & IT Support Show (SDITS) with its online counterpart, Service Desk 360, broadens Diversified’s business management expertise in Europe and brings the online and year-round engagement expertise in house. This event was acquired from The Service Desk Institute and VCM Events and will be sponsored by The Service Desk Institute. The next event takes place in London, April 24-25, 2012.
     
  • Integrate in Australia supports a growing AV communication technologies industry for this region. Diversified will leverage its existing relationships and resources from Integrate Expo in India to grow the range of exhibitors and international visitors and turn it into a regional powerhouse to facilitate and support the industry. Integrate was acquired from Alchemedia and takes place in Sydney, August 30 to September 1, 2011.
     
  • ProVideo Coalition is a group of eMedia products for professionals in the audio/visual production industry acquired by Diversified’s Createasphere-division from Provideo Coalition’s Owner and Founder, Mr. Scott Gentry. Createasphere produces premium content and educational events for this sector and will now work in tandem with Provideo Coalition online community support.
