Natural Products Scandinavia shortlisted for Best International Launch award

Following its successful launch in Malmö, Sweden, last October, Natural Products Scandinavia has been nominated for its first prestigious industry award by Exhibition News magazine.  The first dedicated international trade show for natural and organic products based in the Nordic region, the inaugural event, organised by Diversified Business Communications UK, attracted 2,009 attendees from 65 countries in 2012.

Event manager Zoe Jackson-Cooper is delighted by the nomination:  “From design, marketing, PR and editorial, to sales, finance and operations – we do everything in-house.  So for Natural Products Scandinavia – our first non-UK event – to be in the running for best international launch really is a testament to all the hard work and dedication from the whole team here at Diversified UK, not to mention all the exhibitors and associations that supported the show right from the very beginning.  We’re really proud to be shortlisted and it’s such a fantastic endorsement for the show going forward.”

Today’s news follows a recent announcement by Diversified UK that a new Nordic Organic Food Fair will launch alongside the second edition of Natural Products Scandinavia at MalmöMässan in Malmö, Sweden, on 20-21 October this year.  Forming two distinctly separate, yet co-located, trade events, they will showcase a wealth of new natural, organic, Fairtrade, free-from, sustainable, and healthy living products from a combined total of 300 exhibitors (compared to 170 in 2012).

With 70% of exhibition space already sold, seven months out from its second edition, 2013 looks set to be another great year for Natural Products Scandinavia.  This can only be good news for the show’s visitors – including many of the Nordic region’s key health stores, pharmacy chains, wholesalers and distributors such as Sunkost, Hälsa för Alla, Life, Nature, Hälsokraft, Helsam, Validus Engros, and Frejborg Distribution – as the 2013 exhibitor list will see the return of many key Scandinavian brands, plus a host of new international companies looking to expand into new territories.

The Exhibition News awards, which recognise talent and achievement across the exhibition industry, will take place at the Lancaster London hotel on 10 April 2013.
