Lincat, one of the world’s leading names in commercial catering equipment, is to exhibit at Commercial Kitchen – the definitive new trade event for the sector, which launches at the NEC Birmingham on 7-8 June.

Quintex, Fire and Ice Catering, Polyflor, and Regale Microwave Ovens are other recent additions to the show’s founding exhibitor line-up.

“Commercial Kitchen is an ideal opportunity for us to introduce two new product lines: the Opus 800 range of heavy duty prime cooking equipment and our new generation of FilterFlow water boilers.  It’s great that there is a new, dedicated exhibition for our sector and we are very much looking forward to it,” says Helen Applewhite, marketing manager at Lincat.

“We are thrilled to be able to present commercial kitchen buyers with such a compelling exhibitor line-up for our first event.  Commercial Kitchen will provide an exciting opportunity for our visitors to engage with some of the most influential brands within the sector – bringing the whole catering equipment industry together at the major annual show this industry deserves,” comments group event director Chris Brazier.

With visitor registration now open, leading equipment purchasers and specifiers from across the foodservice sector have been quick to signal their intention to attend.  Among them are representatives from restaurants, pubs, hotels, food-to-go outlets, schools, universities, hospitals, prisons, leisure attractions and venues, and install companies.

“The commercial catering equipment sector continues to see huge innovation as manufacturers rise to the challenge of developing products that are faster, slimmer, easier to use and more energy efficient than ever before.  Having the opportunity to view and assess these innovations in one place can only benefit foodservice operators and buyers, as they get to grips with establishing which kit will deliver the best value for their business and bottom line in the future,” says Andrew Seymour, editorial director of Foodservice Equipment Journal.

Foodservice Equipment Journal and its sister title Catering Insight are confirmed to host expert-led panel sessions in the show’s Keynote Theatre.  The high-profile seminar programme will also feature an exclusive Q&A with Pret A Manger’s senior equipment manager Dirk Wissmann.
