New exhibitors prepare for their lunch! debut

lunch! is now just three stands away from selling out.  Returning to the Business Design Centre in Islington, London, next month on 24-25 September, the multi-award-winning trade event for the food-to-go sector will feature more new brands than ever – including some of the biggest names in the food industry.

The show’s pivotal focus on promoting (and launching) new innovations – from food and drink to packaging and foodservice equipment – has won it pole position on the autumn trade show calendar and made it an essential visit for buying teams across UK looking to source the next wave of bestsellers.  For food-to-go operators looking for differentiation, innovative sourcing is key.  And, with an unprecedented 350 companies now confirmed, lunch! 2015 certainly offers plenty of choice.

The expansion into an additional new area on the show’s Upper Feature Level has made room to accommodate a second show theatre and over 60 more companies (many of which are new to the show).

First time exhibitors here include New York Bakery Company, Euro Food Brands, Marston Foods, Gino Gelato, Pizza Cones, Meatsnacks Group, Gourmosa, PACK'D, The Coconut Collaborative, Freida's Pantry, Mister Free'd, LittleGem Organo Gold, The White Rabbit Pizza Co, Pop Notch, Two Chicks, James White Drinks, and GB Drinks Co.  Plus, Bradshaw, The High Speed Oven Company, Enterprise Flex-E-Rent (temperature controlled vehicles), SATO UK, and AdGen (digital signage solutions).

Of course, with over three floors of exhibitors, there’s plenty of new suppliers up, down and around every aisle.  Around 130 in all, reports show organiser Diversified Communications UK.

Tetley, Twinings, Lucozade Ribena Suntory, Single Source (the UK’s largest manufacturer of single serve portions), and The Big Kitchen are just some of the well-known brands making their lunch! debut on the Upper Feature Level.  Joining them are Beliès – Pietercil Group, Thompe BV (self-service machines for retailers), Comark Instruments, Thistly Cross Cider, Bizimply workforce management software, and Rejuvenation Water.

As in previous years, The Innovation Zone (also on the Upper Feature Level) is home to some of the food industry’s newest suppliers.  Among them are Proper Pudding, Just Bee Drinks, Morso risotto, TAPPED Organic Birch Water, Yum Cha Iced Tea Concentrates, Mallow & Marsh bars, Just Super Juice, Real Handful trail mix, Pip & Nut, nutrii quark, Rhythm108 (108 Foods SARL), skoff, Chika's Foods, mmmLUNCH and Happiour.

Other new exhibitors across the show include rexmartins, Vantastec, Croust'wich, The IMC Group, The London Bread and Cake Co, itsu [grocery], and Bradburys Cheese.

Whilst returning exhibitors looking for another helping of lunch!’s much talked of buzz, include Glaceau vitaminwater – Coca Cola Enterprises, Norseland (Applewood, Mexicana, Jarlsberg), Wine Innovations (creators of The Tulip single serve prefilled wine glass), Magrini, Mad about Coffee, Fruitypot Family (who last appeared in 2008), ABDA Creative Design & Build, Thanks for Franks Gluten Free, Berrywhite Organic Drinks, Jax Coco, Anson Packaging, Impress Sandwiches, Manitowoc Foodservice, Sheep Print, Little & Cull & Tom's Pies, and Tea Fusion.
