Dometic introduces awnings for the European RV-markets

At the up-coming Düsseldorf show in September 2005 Dometic will introduce a range of awnings designed and developed for the European RV market. This introduction will then continue on autumn Caravan shows on all European markets. Dometic thereby continues to strengthen its position as the world-leading supplier of comfort products for the mobile leisure industry.

Dometic is since long time the world-leading manufacturer of awnings for the growing RV-market. Up until now awnings from Dometic have only been available on the North American and Australian markets. - It is a natural next step for us to leverage our expertise in product design and development through launching products for the European markets, says Lars Johansson, President and CEO of the Dometic Group. Dometic has a long experience in product development, production and fulfilling of specific customer requirements when it comes to RV awnings. Dometic is also the holder of many important patents, which will secure a further competitive advantage, continues Mr Johansson. The European range of awnings will be produced in Dometic production facilities in the US and Mexico.
