DreamHack expands Brand Partnership team with key hires

Recruits leadership duo to lead new global Brand Partnership team

DreamHack, the world’s largest digital festival and one of the largest esports companies globally, today announced several key hires with extensive experience to form and lead a new global Brand Partnership team. As part of the DreamHack’s Brand Partnership team, Martin Sirc has been named Head of Brand Partnerships – Key Accounts, and Steven Norris has been named Head of Brand Partnerships – New Business. Sirc will be responsible for all key account managers globally, with focus on existing key clients and game publishers. Steven will create a new team, focusing on non-endemic brands and new business. In addition to this leadership duo, DreamHack has also recruited Nasim Abu Qouta as Senior Sales Executive. Abu Qouta will join the newly formed New Business team.

Martin Sirc is a true industry veteran with over 30 years of experience from the European and Nordic game industry, including a background as General Manager for Koch Media Nordic and Managing Director at Atari Nordic. Martin joins DreamHack after a few years as senior PR consultant for numerous global game publishers. Martin joined the team during the summer.
 
Steven Norris joins DreamHack from Google where he worked as New Business Development Manager and managed sales for high-value advertisers for Google across EMEA. Steven will move from London to join the team at the Stockholm office in September 2018.
 
Nasim Abu Qouta has a documented history as sales manager from the media and entertainment industry, with many years as an account manager and senior agent for companies such as Schibsted and Orlando John. Nasim has already made an impact in esports with numerous sponsorship deals and successful collaborations with both brands and media agencies. Nasim starts in August 2018.
