DreamHack is proud to sponsor "Årets Nätängel – Gaming"

During this year “Årets Nätängel” gala, DreamHack, in cooperation with mySafety Försäkringar, will give out a newly instituted award in the category “Årets Nätängel – Gaming”. The award has been instituted to highlight the good role models and examples within the ever-growing gaming community.

Gaming is bigger than ever, making it become an immensely popular movement. According to data from Mediavision (Q4, 2017), as many as 650,000 people are watching gaming and esports in the Nordic countries every day.
 
There are players, teams, streamers, organizations, and corporations within the community making good efforts to create a good atmosphere and a positive environment online. These efforts also extends to other social settings. With the “Årets Nätängel – Gaming” award, DreamHack and mySafety Försäkringar, wish to highlight these good examples and reward them for their efforts.

The award is presented during the “Årets Nätängel” gala, taking place at Nalen in Stockholm, Sweden, on November 19.
 
Everyone is welcome to nominate their own candidates for the award. Following the nomination process, a jury, picked by DreamHack and mySafety Försäkringar, will take over and select a number of nominees as well as the final winner.
