DreamHack Open Fall European RMR to Begin October 15 – Event to Offer Prize Pool Totaling $115,000

Roster Lock for All Teams in RMR, Sept. 9; Open Qualifiers, Sept. 18-20;

Closed Qualifiers, Sept. 22-25; Main Event, Oct. 15-25

STOCKHOLM — The DreamHack Open Fall European Regional Major Rankings (RMR) Tournament will take place October 15-25, with a prize pool totaling $115,000.   The  all-online competition  will be a version of DreamHack’s popular Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) tournament. The tournament will award RMR points towards the next Valve Major.

Important dates to note leading up to the main tournament:

  • September 9 — Roster Lock for all teams already ranked in RMR circuit
  • September 18-20 — Open Qualifiers
  • September 22-25 — Closed Qualifiers
  • October 15-25 — Main Tournament

Tournament Format:

  • Tournament will feature four GSL-style groups with four teams in each group
  • Top two teams from each group will be seeded into the upper bracket of the playoff
  • Third place in the groups will be seeded into the lower bracket of the playoff
  • Fourth place in the groups will be eliminated
