STOCKHOLM — DreamHack, the premier gaming lifestyle festival, and Psyonix, San Diego video game developer, have signed an agreement for DreamHack to be the production partner for Rocket League Championship Series X (RLCS). The RLCS will begin in July 2020 and continue through spring 2021.

The RLCS is the premier esports league in Rocket League hosted by Psyonix, the game's developer. RLCS Season X introduces a brand new format for the league, starting in July this year and ending in the first half of 2021. As part of the partnership, DreamHack will produce the entirety of the series.

“Rocket League is a hugely popular game — combined with DreamHack’s extensive experience in production, we are confident this partnership will bring great value to the Rocket League community," said DreamHack Co-CEO Marcus Lindmark. “Producing the RLCS is a great opportunity to further improve that value and deepen our relationship with Psyonix."

Broadcasts for RLCS X start on August 1  and will be streamed online on Twitch and YouTube. Full details on the competition is available on the Rocket League Esports website.
