STOCKHOLM – DreamHack, the premier gaming and digital lifestyle festival, and Linus Tech Tips, owners and operators of the YouTube channel with the same name and 8 million subscribers as well as 2.4 billion overall video views, have signed a partnership agreement bringing parts of the DreamHack festival experience to LTX, the Linus Tech Tips Expo, at the Vancouver Convention Center in Vancouver, BC, Canada, July 27-28, 2019.

DreamHack and it’s North American subsidiary, DreamHack Inc, are happy to announce the exciting partnership with influential YouTube channel Linus Tech Tips as they open the doors to their own expo, LTX, for the third consecutive year.

Linus Sebastian, CEO Linus Media Group: “We had some ideas for how to incorporate a LAN into LTX 2019… and they were all terrible… Then DreamHack reached out about partnering for the event and we were like “Heck yeah!” We couldn’t be more excited to work together and our community feels the same way! It’s going to be fantastic!

LTX 2019 ft. DreamHack is a gaming and tech-focused convention put on by the Linus Tech Tips team. LTX focuses on bringing the community together for a truly hands-on, and engaging experience with technology. It offers workshops, challenges, and tons of fun games incorporating different elements of tech and PC hardware.

Partnering with Linus Media Group was a no-brainer,” says DreamHack Global Creative Director Justin Burnham, “DreamHack’s roots come from the tech space so when we saw the opportunity to help make LTX even more awesome than it already is, we jumped at the chance. Vancouver is a thriving city with tremendous talent, so anything we can do to help that growth is something to be excited about.

With the partnership with DreamHack, there will also be more gaming opportunities than ever this year. Featuring aspects of DreamHack’s gaming and digital lifestyle festival like a 500 seat BYOC area, 100 PC Freeplay area, Indie Zone and more.

Several tech content creators will be at the event as well, some of which will be participating in different panels and things happening on the main stage.
