Eastnine improved its performance in GRESB Real Estate Assessment and achieved the top score 5 stars for the second year in a row.

Each year, GRESB assesses and benchmarks the ESG performance of real estate assets worldwide. This year the GRESB benchmark grew to cover more than USD 6.4 trillion of assets under management.

In this year’s review, Eastnine achieved 92 points, improving its score by five points from a year before. This scoring firmly places Eastnine in the top 20 per cent of the GRESB global real estate benchmark corresponding to a 5-star rating by GRESB.  Among European listed real estate companies Eastnine ranked number 11 out of 90 participants.

"We are very pleased to see our score among the top 20 per cent of the GRESB benchmark which duly reflects our team’s real-life efforts invested into improving management practices and performance of our buildings ", says Kestutis Sasnauskas, CEO of Eastnine AB. ”At the same time, we are fully aware of the rising complexity and severity of the climate crisis we jointly need to solve, which commands a continuously  rising level of ambition from our side as we move forward. We still feel that we are only in the beginning of the journey towards sustainable real estate.”

GRESB is a mission-driven and industry-led organisation providing standardized and validated Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) data to financial markets.
