Eastnine in the top tier of gender equality

Eastnine ranks third in the top tier of listed companies in this year's Allbright report on gender equality in Swedish business. While the report as a whole shows little progress, Eastnine is taking a big step forward.

The Allbright Foundation annually reviews listed companies from a gender equality perspective. The survey covers the distribution in management, board and line positions. Eastnine is advancing 2020 to a shared third place of all the Swedish stock exchange's companies, compared with 32nd place in 2019. In terms of management and country managers, the distribution is completely equal. In the board, the distribution is two women and three men.

"It is gratifying that our focus on gender equality, which is part of our long-term sustainability work, is receiving attention," says Kestutis Sasnauskas. "I am convinced that a gender-equal workplace creates a more profitable company."

The real estate industry is still the most equal industry in Sweden, despite a slight decline.
