Eastnine property receives LEED Platinum certification

Eastnine AB's (publ) property Alojas Biroji in Riga has obtained LEED Platinum certification. As a result, as much as 81 percent of Eastnine’s property portfolio is environmentally certified with LEED Platinum or BREEAM Excellent.

Alojas Biroji received 89 points, out of 106 possible in the evaluation, which is the highest score of the four properties which have achieved LEED Platinum in Latvia. Eastnine aims to environmentally certify 100 percent of the portfolio (excluding properties expected to undergo extensive development) in accordance with minimum LEED Gold or BREEAM Excellent. At present only two properties, corresponding to 19 per cent of the area, remain to be certified. Certification work is underway for one of the properties and is expected to be completed in the third quarter 2020.
