Eleda enters into an agreement to acquire Västkustens Brygg & Transport AB

On December 21, 2021, Eleda Infra Services Group (“Eleda” or the “Company”), a leading infrastructure services company with regional presence across Sweden and an annual turnover in excess of SEK 10 billion, reached an agreement to acquire all shares in Västkustens Brygg & Transport AB (“VBOT”). VBOT will be included in the platform company Gatu och Väg Väst AB (“GVV”), which is a part of Eleda. The previous owners of VBOT will continue in their respective operational roles within VBOT and become shareholders in Eleda in conjunction with the acquisition.

VBOT is based on Tjörn, outside of Gothenburg and are specialists in contract-based projects in marine environments with a recurring customer base in the public and private sector. VBOT has 17 employees and approximately SEK 40 million in annual turnover.

“With VBOT, Eleda and GVV establish ourselves in the market for contracts within marine environments in the Gothenburg region, where the need for renovation of, for example, ports and quays is expected to be high in the coming years. VBOT is an exceptional specialist company that has the right skills, resources, and relationships to continue to be successful in its existing business and is, at the same time, a good addition and complement to the concrete renovation business within GVV, which opens up new business opportunities” says Per Svensson, CEO of GVV.
