Infrastructure company Eleda has entered into an agreement to acquire the majority of shares in Arctic Infra (”Arctic”). Arctic has its headquarters in Luleå and offices in Kiruna, Pajala, Gällivare, and Boden and operates in four business areas (ground & infrastructure, construction, operation & maintenance, and rock blasting). The company has 50 employees and has a turnover of approximately SEK 450 million.

The company will report to Järfälla VA- & Byggentreprenad AB (“JVAB”), a platform company within Eleda. Former owners and key personnel will continue in their operational roles and become co-owners of Eleda.

“Arctic’s solid anchoring in the region gives Eleda and JVAB a strong position in an attractive market in northern Norrland. Eleda has previously been active in Norrland, and now we are taking the next step to create synergies in a region with strong growth. Arctic is a typical Eleda company led by entrepreneurs focusing on delivering good projects in collaboration with customers. They have the relationships and expertise to take the next step and are now in an environment that understands the business and can contribute to their continued development", says Fredric Kastevik, CEO of the JVAB group.

“With a new ownership mix anchored in the organization, combined with Eleda’s strength, network, and expertise, Arctic Infra will have the opportunity to reach its full potential. The entrepreneurial spirit that characterizes both Arctic Infra and Eleda bodes well for continued joint success", says Mikael Johansson, CEO of Arctic Infra.

The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and approval by applicable authorities.
