Elisa signs EUR 170 million sustainability-linked revolving credit facility

Elisa has signed a new, EUR 170 million syndicated sustainability-linked revolving credit facility. The five-year facility has an options to extend it by two years and it is intended for general corporate purposes. The facility replaces the facility of the same size that was signed in 2017, maturing in July 2024.
The margin will increase or decrease depending on Elisa's performance related to corporate sustainability targets:
- Reducing CO2 emissions from purchased energy
- Improving the availability of high-speed mobile networks
- Promoting diversity of personnel

We are committed to conducting responsible and sustainable business at all levels, including our financing operations. and we established a Sustainability Finance Framework in 2022 to support our sustainability goals. This latest credit facility is a continuation of the previous syndicated credit facility linked to sustainability targets, and will help us accelerate our sustainable growth”, says CFO Jari Kinnunen.

The mandated lead arrangers and bookrunners of the facility are Danske Bank, Handelsbanken, Landesbank Baden-Württemberg, Nordea Bank, OP Corporate Bank, SEB and UniCredit. OP Corporate Bank acted as the coordinator, Handelsbanken as the sustainability coordinator and Nordea Bank as the facility agent.
