Ellevio publishes its annual investor report on green financing

The Swedish electricity network company Ellevio AB (publ) has today published its annual investor report on green bonds. The report outlines how proceeds from the company’s green bonds have been used in accordance with Ellevio’s Green Financing Framework.The Report confirms that all proceeds from Ellevio’s green bonds issued up to and including April 2025 have been fully allocated to investments that support the transition to a fossil-free energy system. The company has issued green bonds totaling SEK 17.6 billion since the first Green Financing Framework was introduced in 2020.

Strong investor interest as Ellevio issued new green bond

Ellevio AB (publ) has issued another green bond under its EMTN programme. This time, EUR 500 million (approximately SEK 5.5 billion) was offered to investors. Interest was strong, with participation from many of Europe’s leading institutional bond investors.Proceeds from the bond will be used to finance or refinance projects that contribute to the EU’s climate goals, in line with Ellevio’s Green Financing Framework from May 2023. Ellevio expands to northern Sweden – acquires power grid for Europe's largest wind farm

One of Sweden’s largest energy companies, Ellevio, has acquired Markbygden Net AB, a modern transmission network which connects Europe's largest wind farm cluster Markbygden 1101 outside Piteå in northern Sweden.
