Eltel announces appointments in its business units and Denmark

Eltel appoints new heads in Business Units Mobile Telecom and Homeland Security and Aviation. Dariush Rezai and Thorbjörn Sagner are appointed to new positions and members of the Group management team. Steen Steensen is the new Country Manager and President of Eltel Networks A/S in Denmark. 

Dariush Rezai joined Eltel in 2011, and most recently, he has been in charge of the Mobile Nordic business. Prior to joining Eltel he has worked at NCC and as a management consultant at Deloitte and Accenture. In his new position Rezai will report to Axel Hjärne, President and CEO of Eltel Group. He will also become a member of the Group’s management team.

Thorbjörn Sagner has been appointed Head of Business Unit Homeland Security and Aviation and member of the management team of Eltel Group. He has joined Eltel in the merger between Eltel and Swedia Networks at the end of 2004. In his new position he will report to the Group President and CEO Axel Hjärne.

Steen Steensen has been appointed Country Manager and President of Eltel Networks A/S in Denmark. Prior to his new position, Steen Steensen has been the CFO of Eltel’s Danish subsidiary. He joined Eltel in 2005 when Eltel acquired KE Partner in Denmark. Besides his new position, Steensen will continue also in charge of Shared Services, including finance, IT and HR, of Eltel Networks A/S. In his new position he will report to Axel Hjärne.

All of the above mentioned appointments become effective on 15.2.2014.
