Eltel signs contracts with a Finnish wind power company worth about EUR 11 million
Eltel Finland has signed two agreements with Exilion, a Finnish company specialised in renewable energy investments, to build a new 110 kV power line and substations for two new wind farms in Finland. The contracts have a combined value of about EUR 11 million.
Eltel will be responsible for the construction of a new 20 km long 110 kV transmission line, two substations and the internal grid for the new Isokangas and Palokangas wind farms in Finland. Eltel will contribute to the sustainable energy solution and bring expertise as the project progresses.
The new wind farms will have a total of 17 turbines and a total capacity of about 100 MW. The wind farms are estimated to generate a renewable annual energy output of approximately 320 000 MWh, which corresponds the annual energy consumption of 130 000 apartments in Finland.
The project will start at the end of 2022 and is scheduled to be completed early 2025.
