Mikael Johansson appointed VP Strategy in Eltel Group

Mikael Johansson has been appointed as VP Strategy in Eltel Group. He will also become a member of Eltel’s management team. Johansson joined Eltel in 2010 and moves to the new position from the position of Director, Strategic Development Projects.

This new group role and appointment is aimed at strengthening Eltel’s management team by enhancing capacity to drive group-wide strategy processes, further implementation of Eltel Way and processing of strategic M&A opportunities.

Mikael Johansson is a graduate of Uppsala University in Sweden where he has received a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science in 2001 and Master’s degree in Business and Economics in 2003. After his graduation he joined Bredbandsbolaget (part of Telenor Group) as Manager DSL Delivery in years 2003 to 2005. In 2005-2010 he was a management consultant with BearingPoint and later Deloitte, leading large finance transformation projects and performance management engagements.

Mikael Johansson will start in the new position on September 1, 2015. In his new position he will report to Eltel Group CEO, Axel Hjärne.
