Energy savings for Weston Super Mare - £650,787 for Bournville estate

Ready for Retrofit has awarded Alliance Homes £650,787 to improve the energy efficiency of properties on the Bourneville Housing Estate, Weston super Mare.The programme, run by the Energy Saving Trust will help fund the retrofitting of a number of energy efficiency measures including external wall insulation, narrow cavity fill, window replacements and lighting upgrades. Including the grant, Alliance Homes will invest a total £1,972,082 to fund 865 retrofit measures. These are expected to bring a saving of 6,461 tonnes of carbon over their lifetime as well as warmer homes and cheaper
