Hertz Iceland is pleased to announce it has been named “Iceland’s Leading Car Rental Company 2025” at the prestigious World Travel Awards (WTA). This accolade marks a return to the top for the company and marks the seventh time since 2017 that Hertz has received this honour.
The World Travel Awards, which have recognised excellence in travel and tourism since 1993, are considered a premier hallmark of industry quality, rewarding companies that demonstrate outstanding service and professionalism.
A Legacy of Consistency
Having held the title from 2019 to 2022, the award was reclaimed in 2025, following nine years of consecutive nominations. This latest win reinforces the company's position as a stable leader in the Icelandic rental market.
