Ensto into four business units

ENSTO INTO FOUR BUSINESS UNITS Ensto will change its operative Group structure from the beginning of year 2001. The Group will be divided into four business units: House Technology, Utility Networks, Enclosures and Components and Industry. To the House Technology business unit has been concentrated those Ensto companies whose responsibility is beyond, to give service to the traditional installation materials customers, also be a developer and manufacturer of different kind of new installation- and control systems and equipment to these. Sami Tulus will be appointed president of this business unit. The Utility Networks business unit will concentrate on products for the transmission- and distribution networks and especially invest in the activities abroad. Seppo Martikainen will continue as the president of the Utlility Networks business unit. The Enclosures and Components business unit develops and manufacture products for the OEM industry's global needs. Kai Qvist will be the president of this business unit. The companies in the Industry business unit develop and manufacture both own products as well as products following the industry customers' needs. Jussi Viitala will be the president of this business unit. The management group of the Ensto Group consists of Ensto Oy's president and CEO Petteri Wallden, Karita Mikkola, Marjo Raitavuo, Seppo Ojaluoma, Seppo Martikainen, Jussi Viitala, and as of 1.1.2001 also Sami Tulus ja Kai Qvist.
