CHANGES IN ENSTO'S MANAGEMENT The President of Ensto Utility Networks business unit Seppo Martikainen has been appointed President of Ensto Oy as of 4 June 2001. ENSTO HAD A GOOD YEAR - OPERATING PROFIT ALMOST DOUBLED FROM THE PREVIOUS YEAR Ensto Group consolidated net sales in the fiscal year 2000 rose to 200.7 Meur (+4.7 %) and operating profit to 17.9 Meur (+88.3%). Comparable sales grew by 13.2 %. Operating profit constituted 8.9 % of net sales. The main factors behind the good result were the strong market demand, the increased market shares which expanded into new markets due to a good delivery capability and a renewed product range.
