Rocket Farms Flower Truck Success Leads to Second Flower Giveaway in San Francisco

Purple Get Mee®’s to be Given to Passers By in Three Bay Area Neighborhoods Thursday, March 28th

Half Moon Bay, California – March 25, 2013 – Thursday, March 28th, the Rocket Farms Flower Truck will venture out to give 600 flowers to people passing in the streets of three Bay Area neighborhoods: Noe Valley and Valencia Street in San Francisco and Palo Alto. The Flower Truck will travel between these locations from 10:00am and 2:00pm.

Thursday’s Rocket Farms Flower Truck will hand out purple Get Mee campanula, grown in the US exclusively by Rocket Farms. These indoor potted plants feature vibrant, compact little purple flowers covering the entire top of the plant. Easy to care for, Get Mee are a very popular flower for Rocket Farms around the spring season.  

The last Rocket Farms Flower Truck excursion surprised people with potted roses on Valentine’s Day. 500 flowers were gifted in celebration of the holiday. The feedback was so positive both during and after the event, Rocket Farms has planned this week’s and future Flower Truck travels, featuring a different flower and visiting different neighborhoods each time.
