Epidemic Sound appoints former Readly senior executive, Maria Waddington, as Chief of People and Culture

Stockholm, Sweden – Epidemic Sound, named as the second-fastest growing Swedish technology company on the Financial Times’ list of Europe’s fastest-growing companies, announces the appointment of Maria Waddington as Chief of People and Culture.
As former Chief People and Culture Officer at Readly - the second fastest growing Swedish media company on the Financial Times’ list of Europe’s fastest-growing companies - Waddington founded, implemented and led all aspects of employer branding at the company.
With a background in engineering, Waddington’s sweet spot lies ensuring the right processes and rituals are in place to maintain and lead performance-driven cultures in fast growing companies.
Following the news that Epidemic raised $20million to continue on their journey to Soundtrack the World, Waddington’s appointment will see her take on the responsibility of managing the pace of growth whilst maintaining and shaping the company’s global culture.
