Elematic’s technical documentation department will be transferred to Etteplan
Etteplan and Elematic have agreed on the transfer of Elematic's technical documentation department’s operations in Akaa, Finland to Etteplan through a business transfer. According to the agreement, two Elematic employees will transfer to Etteplan as existing employees starting on June 19, 2024.
"Elematic's target was to build a flexible operating model to support the company's growth and find new ways to develop documentation services, which we were able to respond to throught comprehensive service and technology. In addition to the documentation processes, the agreement also covers the transfer of printing and translation processes to Etteplan. Our goal is to continue developing the services in cooperation, utilizing our digitalization and AI expertise. I warmly welcome the employees transferring from Elematic to Etteplan," says Kimmo Kallio, Vice President, Technical Communication Solutions at Etteplan.
"Our new strategic direction focuses on accelerating business growth and leveraging digitalization to better serve our customers. Through the agreement with Etteplan, we will utilize their expertise to improve our innovation capabilities. We will apply Etteplan's AI expertise and ability to create new documentation methods, which serve the changing requirements of our customers. Our goal is also to reduce the amount of printing and thus reduce the carbon footprint of our operations. In addition, the continuation of the work of the employees transferring to Etteplan was important for us," says Teppo Voutilainen, CEO of Elematic.
