Etteplan expands its operations in China again with a new office
Etteplan’s operations have expanded further in China as the company opens its eighth office in the country. The new office is located in the city of Shenzhen which is a major city and sub-provincial city in Guangdong Province in Southwest China. The city of Shenzhen is part of the Pearl River Delta megalopolis. The expansion to Southwest China is related to the growing demand for Etteplan's services among local customers in the area. Etteplan Shenzhen office will be opened in mid-February 2019, right after the Chinese New Year.
Etteplan provides industrial equipment and machinery engineering solutions, software and embedded solutions, and technical documentation solutions. The new office brings the number of Chinese cities that Etteplan operates in to eight: Beijing, Shanghai, Kunshan, Suzhou, Xi’an, Qingdao, Wuhan, and Shenzhen, their staff totaling nearly 400 people. Etteplan has been operating in China since 2004 and has continued to invest heavily in the Chinese market.
Chinese companies are increasingly seeking global markets while the service market is opening up in China and Chinese companies have begun to buy expert services.
“The opening of China's service market creates demand for expert and engineering services provided by Etteplan. The office that is now being opened is expanding Etteplan’s operations geographically in China to a new area and enabling companies operating in Southwest China to be better served”, Juha Näkki, President and CEO of Etteplan Oyj, says.
